This Privacy Policy explains how the Awake application ("App") by METROMEDYA ("Company") collects, uses, and shares personal information from users who install and use the App. Users have the right to protect their data and keep it confidential, and the Company respects and adheres to these basic legal rights.
The Awake App prevents a Mac computer from automatically going to sleep, dimming the screen, and activating screen savers. The App has features such as Time-Based, App-Based, and External Disk Based which allow the user to keep their computer awake for a specified period of time or while using a specific application. The App checks whether external disks are connected to keep the computer awake as long as the disk is active.
We do not collect or store any of your data.
We do not use third-party analytics tools.
We do not display third-party advertisements in the Awake app.
The Company uses industry-standard security measures to protect the personal information in the Awake App. However, the Company cannot guarantee the security of the user's device or the Awake App.
The Company may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will be located on the Company's website. If the Company makes any changes to the policy that may have a material adverse effect on the user, the Company will provide notice prior to the change taking effect. By continuing to use the Awake App after those changes become effective, the user agrees to the revised policy.
