How do I use Translate PRO?

1. Launch Translate PRO from Applications or menu bar
2. Select your source and target languages
3. Type or paste text into the input field
4. Or use the microphone icon for voice translation
5. Or select text anywhere and press Cmd+C twice quickly
6. The translation will appear instantly
7. Click to copy or share the translation

What is the double Cmd+C feature?

The double Cmd+C feature allows you to translate text from any application. Simply select text anywhere on your Mac, press Cmd+C twice quickly, and Translate PRO will automatically open with the translation. No special permissions required - it works out of the box!

What translation services are supported?

Translate PRO supports two powerful translation services:

• Apple Translation framework (macOS 15.0+) - Offline translation with privacy protection
• Google Translate - Online translation with 240+ languages

You can switch between services in the app preferences.

How do I enable offline translation?

For offline translation on macOS 15.0 or later:

1. Open Translate PRO preferences
2. Select "Apple Translation" as the translation service
3. Download required language packs from System Settings
4. Translations will now work without internet connection

Why isn't voice translation working?

If voice translation isn't working, please check:

• Microphone permission is enabled in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone
• Your microphone is properly connected and working
• The selected language supports voice input
• You have an active internet connection (for Google Translate)

Can I open multiple translation windows?

Yes! Translate PRO supports multiple translation windows. Use the menu bar or keyboard shortcuts to open new windows. This is perfect for comparing translations between different languages or working on multiple projects simultaneously.

How do I update the app?

Translate PRO updates automatically through the Mac App Store. You can also manually check for updates by opening the App Store app and going to the Updates section.

Which macOS versions are supported?

Translate PRO requires:

• Minimum: macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or later
• Recommended: macOS 15.0 (Sequoia) or later for Apple Translation framework features

Is my translation data private?

Your privacy is our priority:

• Apple Translation: All translations are processed locally on your device, with no data sent to servers
• Google Translate: Text is sent to Google's servers (see Google's Privacy Policy)

Can I customize the keyboard shortcut?

Yes! Go to Preferences → Shortcuts and set your preferred keyboard combination. You can also disable the double Cmd+C feature if you prefer manual operation.
