Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the NetTop macOS application provided by Metromedya. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.

2. The Application

NetTop is a macOS menu bar utility that shows your live network speed, runs on-demand and scheduled speed tests, and displays per-app bandwidth and connection details. NetTop cannot be held responsible for situations that occur due to misuse or for decisions made based on the statistics it displays.

3. Privacy

Metromedya respects your privacy. NetTop runs entirely on your Mac and does not collect your data, as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge the practices set out there.

4. Purchases

NetTop is a one-time purchase distributed through the Mac App Store. It does not offer subscriptions or in-app purchases. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store to the payment method associated with your Apple Account. Refunds are subject to the App Store provider's return policies.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of the App and third-party services

6. Intellectual Property

The Application, its text, design, logos, graphics, icons, images and all other elements belong exclusively to Metromedya or its licensors. Any use, reproduction, modification, distribution or transmission not expressly permitted in these Terms is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METROMEDYA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

8. Updates and Modifications

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice. We may also modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey.
